Spicketts Battrick Law Practice was formed on January 1st 2006 between Cassam & Battrick Solicitors, 126 Clifton Street, Cardiff and Spicketts Solicitors, 3-4 Gelliwastad Road, Pontypridd.

Historically, the firm of Spicketts Solicitors was established in the mid-19th Century and the firm of Spicketts proudly honoured its tradition of providing quality legal services to the community of Pontypridd and Rhondda. The firm of Cassam & Battrick traditionally provided legal services to well-known financial institutions in Cardiff, as well as being a main-stream provider of legal services to its local community. The new practice offers a fully computerised specialist conveyancing and remortgage unit in-house, and is franchised by the community legal service. We offer a full litigation service with Conveyancing and no-win no-fee Personal Injury departments as well as busy Matrimonial, Family and Care and Wills, Trusts and Probate departments.

The new practice will provide a wide range of legal services both to clients in Cardiff and Pontypridd, and will harness legal tradition with up to date technology.

The aim of the Spicketts Battrick Law Practice will always be to provide legal services to individuals and business in South Wales; to maintain the highest standards of professional expertise and to maintain a legal aid service for every client who is financially eligible for legal aid and to provide a high quality legal service for all our clients.

Structure of the firm

We are a five-Partner firm with an additional five experienced Solicitors; a team of Senior Conveyancing and Legal Executives; and a specialist Personal Injury team.
