I graduated from the University of Wales in 1982 with a Degree in Law. I studied at the Law Society’s College of Law in Chester.
I am a Partner and Head of the Firm’s Personal Injury Department. I have 26 years experience, specialising in Personal Injury work. I specialise in Claimant Personal Injury Claims involving Public Liability Claims, Employer Liability Claims and Road Traffic Claims.
I have extensive experience in high value Claims and catastrophic injury Claims.
I am a Member of APIL and I am a Member of the Law Society’s Personal Injury Accreditation Scheme.
I also specialise in Employment Law issues.
Civil Practitioner – Specialises in Claimant Personal Injury work. Vast experience in accident claims against Local Authorities, Employers Liability claims, Occupiers Liability, Road Traffic Accidents. Has good experience of claims arising out of Clinical negligence.
Other work has involved claims against the Police, Disease Litigation, Accidents on holiday and injuries involving animals.
Christopher has a thorough grounding in Criminal Injury Compensation Claims.
Christopher also has a good knowledge of the Civil procedure Rules and is involved in advising both Claimant and Defendant in Court processes and procedures.
Housing Law – Supervisor of the Housing Department. Deals with all aspects of Housing Law and work centres particularly on possession cases, Landlord and Tenant issues and disrepair claims against the Local Authorities and both Social and Private Landlords.
Christopher is experienced in Conditional fee work, Contingency Fee work, Legal Aid and Private Fee paying work.
Christopher is a partner of the firm.
Matthew is a Charted Legal Executive with 10 years experience, specialising in Personal Injury and Disease Work. He joined Spicketts Battrick in November 2012. Matthew has a wide range of experience and have acted on behalf of individual Claimant’s and Major Insurance companies in dealing with Road Traffic Accident’s, Public Liability, Employers Liability and Disease Claims. In addition, he has dealt with a number of high value claims and inquests for both Claimant’s and Defendant’s which have often involved complex legal and medical issues.
Carys graduated from Cardiff University with a 2:1 degree in Law and completed the Legal Practice Course with distinction.
She joined Spicketts Battrick Law Practice as part of the Personal Injury Department, a field in which she has over 5 years of experience.
Carys became a Trainee Solicitor at Spicketts Battrick Law Practice in April 2016.z
